Is there a way to have the charge port unlock automatically?

I charge at work, and am not concerned about someone disconnecting me prematurely. As a matter of fact, I'd like to know if it is possible for the Air to not lock the cable while charging so that someone other than me can unplug while the car is locked.

I can't find a way for this to be done, but thought to ask anyway.

I do not believe you can unplug while the Air is locked. However, what you could do is unlock the remotely Air using your phone's app, so someone else can unplug, and then use the app to then lock your Air again.

I don't think you can disable the cable lock — Tesla seems to treat it as a security thing. Still worth checking your charging settings in the car, but I'd be pretty surprised if there's an option there.

To be more clear
Pulling out a plug that may be distributing 900v 350kw is likely not an experience you would normally choose. Think smallish lighting bolt in the palm of your hands.
