Is the Lucid Air in a Different League Compared to Audi’s Electric SUVs?

Does the Lucid Air compete with vehicles like the Audi Q6 e-tron, or is it closer to something like the Porsche Taycan and Mercedes EQS?

Are we even comparing the right cars?

It's closest competitors are the Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, Audi e-Tron GT, Mercedes EQS sedan, and BMW i7. Upcoming competitors include the BMW i3 and Polestar 5.

Comparisons are a bit difficult as it depends on what your priorities are. Many of the luxury EV's are lacking in range efficiency. Many of the EV's with range efficiency are lacking in luxury. Like everything in life there are trade-offs.

There are a new Audi A6 e-tron Sportback sedan and wagon too? I think it really only competes with the Pure and Touring from a price standpoint. The Audi and Taycan share a platform.

I had an Audi e-tron GT. It drove similarly to my Air GT, but it had way less range, a cramped interior (esp in the rear seat), and limited storage space. Its software was way behind the Lucid, and I had five recalls on the vehicle. It also had to go into the shop for software updates, and when it did, they always broke something else on the car. The dealer usually took 3+ days to execute a software update. I haven't had any of these problems with my Lucid.

I think it would be the Taycan, Audi-e-Tron GT, BMW I5, Mercedes EQE.
