I have my iPhone set up as a mobile key. A couple days ago I updated to iOS 27.2 and the next morning when I went out to the car I was prompted with "A new key fob has been detected. Add it to this profile?" All I can figure is that the iPhone is broadcasting a key fob signal now...? Has anybody else noticed this?

I had this happen once, and only once. It happened when I got in my AT and it switched to the "guest" profile (never happened before or since - this was a few weeks *after* the 2.11 update). I manged to load my profile (car only has one besides "guest") and that resolved it. Maybe check to see which profile is loaded? If it's not guest, I'd suggest a reboot.

The car and your phone likely confirming that they will trust each other. iOS can change things, the car isn’t the only product that gets updates over the air. Sometimes phone updates can alter or break integrations.

no changes for me with 27.2
Me neither. When this happened to me I was on 27 for a few days with no issues. It just spontaneously happened, and only once. I suspect the car rebooted/came out of sleep into a nebulous state which (for me at least) caused the issue.

There was a new app update last night that supposedly improves responsiveness with the phone unlocking. Will test today to see if there’s any noticeable difference.

When you got the new phone you probably also got the latest update to the Lucid phone app. It just rolled out 3 days ago. Might have something to do with it.
