Invitation to Lucid Feature Pilot Program

I’ve always wanted OTA heavy companies to offer an insider track to complaint/understanding customers. We do the same at my current workplace, with software release heavy electric boats.

Received the email. Consider if a step forward. But frankly think their questions could have helped with a bit of direct pertinent information.

For example, there are people in our owners group who probably been beta testers before.

Some have technical backgrounds, some do not. Both can contribute but their utility to Lucid is very different.

I have no idea what they are targeting ( that’s ok). Hope they do.

It is one thing to have a program that is based on a good idea and it is better to have a program that includes design that measures the impact of that good idea.

It is easy to do a ‘good job’ and miss the mark.

For example, I have gotten more male inquiries from strangers regarding our Air and more female regarding our Gravity(sometimes a man approaching saying ‘my wife wants to know).

As to missing the mark? The very slick cute Chalamet commercial “Driven”? What impact?

The reaction in my circle? It could have been a home run. It was not..
and a home run was just a split second away.

Add a split second or two of a Final shot: the woman at the wheel (after he gets his bike into the back)…

In a split second you have not only women who want a cool guy, but women who are or want to be cool.

Impact matters.

Hopefully this is what this program will be doing.

If it's an early access/early feedback type program, it will be interesting to see if it really materializes. Somewhere around 18 months ago, a semi-formal process was announced by @marqie, which offered the ability to be among the very first owners to receive OTA updates. I applied, as did many others on the forum, and was approved to participate before the window of opportunity quickly closed. As far as I can tell, being on that program never made a rat's ass bit of difference on the roll-out priority as OTA updates came along.

I filled out the form but haven't heard anything since. I'd be happy to get early software and fill out detailed bug reports and everything.

I filled out the form in March. Three weeks later I got an email from Ipsos titled 'Lucid Air Feedback Request from Ipsos'. I did that online survey. Was quite boring. I do not know if that was in response to the pilot program or not.
