Interruptions of Apple CarPlay and SiriumXM audio?

I've noticed intermittent issues where the audio from Apple CarPlay and SiriumXM just cuts out for anywhere from 2-15seconds. The screen shows the music is still playing.
Had this twice with 2.8.30 and was hoping it was fixed with 2.9 but alas it recurred yesterday.

These interruptions occurs even with strong internet connection or downloaded content on iPhone(Apple Music and the podcast app) but not with FM radio(I don't have Tidal or the other accounts) so I doubt it is related to internet streaming issue.

It is rather random, it could go for days without an issue when suddenly in a day it could bother me all day long. Hard and soft resets don't solve the issue.
Only long overnight sleeps seem to reset this problem.

Anybody else has this problem?
A known solution?

I have experienced a similar situation. In my case it was the Lucid losing connection to my phone: music seemed to be silently still playing.

My workaround seemed to be touch the Carplay icon which seemed to reestablish the connection (no need to delete and re-connect) I seem to recall doing similar on my phone too.

Does the apple connection screw up the SiriumXM audio as well? I guess that's possible.
But I don't want to keep pressing the CarPlay button all day.

Maybe if it recurs, I'll just power cycle my iPhone and see if it fixes the problem.
