I have 2.8.30, when will I get 2.9.0?

https://lucidtracker.app/softwaredeployment shows 81% of Airs have updated to 2.9.x, so I'd expect yours to update within a week or so. If not, it could be time to contact customer service.
I'm still on 2.8.3 in my Touring as well. Mine is in service right now so I'm going to see if they will install the update.

The way software rolls out (only a theory based on my 30 years as a software engineer) and why you didn't get an update (me as well). The first batch goes out and over time those first pile of batches will absolutely have bugs especially a full 0.1 release which is significant. It's a likely assumption that you would get that bug as well if you match the cars reporting the bugs. So the 2nd goes out 2.8.x. Now they have to observe how many report issues there. I see 2 minor releases 0.0.x after 2.8.3. It would imply the bug is serious enough that they don't want to just wing it with fixes and hope nothing gets broken.
Customers like us(in general not you specifically) are the worst. Lol
We will say I'm ok with some bugs so let me be an early adopter. Then they complain about bugs and when you confront them about being a early adopter they'll say craziness like yeah but I thought that meant small bugs like misspellings and wrong colors.... I have told off many managers over the years over stuff like this to the point where I'll say if I release anything early yall going to keep your trap shut or you get nothing. I was a nazi release manager. Keep in mind these are systems that cost millions. But I get it. I myself feel the urge to hulk rage sometimes with other tech. As far as lucid goes I'm actually very impress with the bug squashing since 2 years ago. For an ecosystem this complex, it's been quite good. So I'll just wait with you.
