How to turn off the car by walking away

When I close my doors on the car it’s still on like my radio is on and I hear it. Or today i had a company call and it will still playing the call on Bluetooth in car after I got out. I had to explicitly press the lock on my fob. Does this happen to folks? Sorry for a newbie question I will have a lot of them.
