I was able to charge my Air at a Supercharger today, but only by initiating the charge using Tesla's phone app. Lucid's email says:

"Start charging: Initiate your charging session via the Lucid mobile app (the Plug & Charge feature is not currently available for Lucid Air at Tesla charging stations)."

I tried several times to initiate a charge using Lucid's phone app 2.7.0 (Android) both before connecting the car to the charger, and after, and never found the app to respond to a finger tap or long-press on a charger stall's ID icon or do anything relating to initiating a charge. The stall ID did show "In Use" in the app, however, reverting to "Available" a few minutes after I unplugged. Could not figure out how to use Lucid's app to start the charge. Tesla's app worked fine.

Has anyone figured it out?

Where in the app were you attempting to initiate the charge? It should happen at the top page.

On the page that lists the charging station availability for the Supercharger location I was at. I tried tapping the charging stall ID that I was using, both before and after plugging in the car:

I'm accustomed to using the Tesla app for our Volvo and maybe was trying to use Lucid's app in the same way. I never noticed any charging controls on the home page of Lucid's app, not sure when something should appear.

FWIW to others, to initiate charging using Tesla's app, find the charging location in the app, select the charging stall in the app, press "Start Charging", and follow the onscreen instructions for plugging in the cable and adapter.

You should've seen a prompt to select station and to confirm and pay.

Before plugging in, or after? I tried both and didn't see a prompt. I did see that the stall ID my car was plugged into said "In Use" in the app.

I got an adapter and attempted to charge at a supercharger last night. The lucid app and the Tesla app were both asking me to identify which actual charging station I was using and listed them ie 1A, 1B, etc. I could not find the number on the station anywhere. I know this is a case of user error. Can anyone help here?

Just take a look around, it's somewhere on the stalls:

I plugged in and the Lucid app sent me a notification to choose the station in the Lucid app, but then when I opened the Lucid app, it did not have a way to select the location, and said I had to authenticate at the station or with the station's app. I was able to use the Tesla app just fine though, but the inconsistencies in Lucid's messaging is disappointing.

This was at the Napa, CA Target location with the "hollow"units with red accents. I'm on my way home now to try a 1 month old Supercharger installation with newer units and see if I can initiate with the lucid app for those. Interestingly, these new units have the magic dock but it is intentionally disabled (though Lucid's app shows some, but not all, stations there as having both NACS and CCS plugs)
