No. The car needs to be driving at very low speed or stationary to access the cameras. Is there a way to access the cameras from either screen while driving?
6I believe its still somewhere between 16-20mph before the cameras are disabled. Of course, the blind spot/turn signal cameras work when moving.
Yes, but they will stay on until around 16 if you re-start them after they turn off.
Not sure what *GENIUS* suggested they reduce it. Was nice at 16-20 while driving around a parking garage to prevent curbing...
Maybe 10 miles per hour would have been OK, but 6 is ridiculously slow for navigating a parking garage.... and that is often an unfamiliar place where it's really useful. Not sure what *GENIUS* suggested they reduce it. Was nice at 16-20 while driving around a parking garage to prevent curbing...
It’s configurable in the car. I think it’s 0, 6,11 or 16 or something like that. Not sure what *GENIUS* suggested they reduce it. Was nice at 16-20 while driving around a parking garage to prevent curbing...
It is? I didn't know that. Where in the menu is that/? Personally, 6 works for me. It used to be 15 and I was always turning it off manually. User configurable is the ideal. It’s configurable in the car. I think it’s 0, 6,11 or 16 or something like that.

Nope! Auto off at 6. Hit the button again and it's good to 16, or thereabouts.I think it’s in the DreamDrive settings where the options are for safety…
Some Teslas have this feature. My 2018 Model S 100D has the rear, left side and right side camera views all available at all speeds if selected, or just the rear camera view is selectable. When all three cameras are selected they eclipse all other displays on the screen. Some cars allow this but most do not. Neither my current car nor any of my prior cars allow this.
Our 2022 X has camera views at any speed, as does our 2023 R1S. Again, they make me sick personally, but they’re available. Some Teslas have this feature. You're talking Gravity, the rest of the folks here are talking Air. We don't have those nice things yetHere’s the menu - it’s “Parking Feature” and it includes the backup/forward camera plan surround view though it only mentioned surround view.
Got it. Sorry! Didn’t realize as I lurk in the Gravity threads more. My bad. You're talking Gravity, the rest of the folks here are talking Air. We don't have those nice things yet
(Yes I realize we're in the Gravity subforum here, but it's easy to miss)
