How do you know when you receive a text msg in Lucid UX?

I have an Android Phone (Pixel 9 Pro) but generally use the Lucid UX rather than Android Auto. When I'm in AA, I get text notifications on screen and the little notification counter shows at the bottom right corner of the upper right screen. But when I am in the Lucid UX, which is 95% of the time, there is no notification of a text message at all. I'm talking about regular SMS/MMS texts, WhatsApp Messages, etc. If I have my ringer turned on I will at least hear the chime through the car speakers, but only once and then any subsequent texts do not chime. If my phone is on vibrate (which it usually is), I get nothing, no audio or visual indication of a text message. Am I missing something? I'm on 2.11 but it's been this way since the first week I owned the car. I got the notifications in the Lucid UX for the first few days after I bought it, then never again.

I've noticed that on 2.11 the text message flashes on the right hand side of the cockpit panel for a few seconds and then disappears before you have a chance to read it. I guess there must be some way to subsequently see it, but I have not figured out how to do that. On my previous sedan, the car would read the text messages aloud, but I don't know how to make the Lucid do that either.

It pops up once it arrives then disappears a few seconds later, and as far as I can tell, there's no way to get it back.

Thanks. Mine does not pop up ever, and hasn't since June 2025.
