How deep is the water?

Recent flooding in SW Colorado, king tides in California... And now the reminders that driving an EV in deep enough water can be catastrophic fire risk for your battery system (which sits pretty low in the car). If you have the fully adaptive suspension putting you up to a 9" ride height, how deep would you want to fjord through? 😬 (Clearly less than I would have taken my ICE Highlander.)

I think I'd be comfortable fording up to about the tire sidewall height on the 20/21's and start wiggin' out if it got up to the wheel center

And ya, would've splashed right through deeper than that without a care in the world in my old boxy 2001 OG Jeep Cherokee!..heard the hiss of the exhaust manifold more than once back then but never cracked the block.

As near as I can tell, Lucid has published nothing about a wading depth or the battery (and other low mounted electronics) being sealed against water submersion. Given their silence on the matter, I wouldn't worry about heavy water splashing, but I wouldn't drive it through anything deep enough for the bottom of the car to submerge into water. Since it's so hard to tell how deep water is when you drive into it, that means I wouldn't try driving through anything other than superficial flooding.

It doesn’t take much to float a car anyway - why risk it? Regardless if it is EV or not - plenty of people find this out the hard way.

Volvo Cars does specify a maximum fording depth and speed for their EVs and other vehicles. It would be nice to have a corresponding spec on Gravity.
