Hot Topic!

Which version of software are you on? 1.2.6 makes the fans better. Also if your garage is 100 degrees, the fans will pretty much run all night regardless if your car is plugged in or not. The batteries want to be at around 70 degrees from what I remember reading previously.
I don't believe Lucid would set a 70 degree high temperature threshold Panasonic's 21700 cells are safe at temperatures from 20-120 degrees F. However I do believe that the BMS will not start charging a car if the Battery temperature is near the upper limit to avoid overheating. I can see a scenario where a hot car (from sun and high battery draw), with cells near the upper limit, would have to be first cooled before charging is initiated. In a closed space, like a garage, a 115V power source will not be able to keep up with the 2kWh cooling demand, the car uses, to cool down the battery pack before it starts charging.
