so I PPF'd my front bumper but didn't do the hood. that leading edge of the hood where the logo lettering is as well as the piece of the leading edge just under that got a few tiny chips. I was hoping just the front PPF would do the trick but the small chips are noticeable due to the shiny part under the stealth finish coming through at the edge of the chip. Might do the leading edge / hood with PPF. But before I do that, has anyone found a good chip repair for that finish? I usually just get the dr. colorchip kits but in this case the finish is really unique. Any suggestions besides a sharpie?? TIA

i'll just caution if you go with dr. colorchip, be careful, test it out in an inconspicuous area first. i used dr. colorchip on a previous car, and it was a huge color mismatch! You can try one one of the approved lucid paint/body repair shops, i think u can order a touchup pen from them.

As an alternative, most of the shops that do PPF also offer paint correction. They should be able to fill it for you.

bump - anyone have any info? best color match for chip repair on the stealth hood line leading edge .. not the logo trim but the front edge just under it .. finished in stealth finish.

Bump. I have three spots also finished in stealth. Any tips?
I ordered touch up paint in the quantum grey metallic body color .. It's not an exact match but at least kills the shiny under layer. I need a warm day to apply it with the clear coat .. Will be tricky to blend it so it doesn't sit above the surface.. Will use a magnifying glass. Then I'm going to ppf that edge (and maybe the hood and mirrors ..TBD). I can post pics when done.
