Just got a Gravity with a manufacture date of March 2026. It does not have the Homelink module and I am trying to get through to Lucid to have it installed. Just heard from them that there is a cost to get it installed. Have others gone through the same and paid for it's installation?
 
Touring or grand touring? From what I understand, it should be included for grand touring so if it's not there it should get installed for free. For touring, I don't think it's included so I would expect there to be a fee for installation
 
Thanks. Where did you find the info that it's not included for the Touring?

Was this the GGT?
 
No, it's a Touring. Homelink is a standard across trim levels. From what I gathered is that the module was not installed on some batches due to supplier issues. If that is the case, you get a QR code when you select homelink on your screen. There are other threads on the forum where the GGT owners got that QR code also. There is no cost for the module itself, just the installation of it. My question was if others paid an installation charge or if it's something new. Certainly have no issues paying it as Lucid Service has always been stellar for me
 
Am I missing something here... If the module was unavailable when the vehicle was delivered, surely it should be stated and an IOU provided. Not sure why there should be a cost for an install even if the module is free. Just my two cents!
 
Fully agree! that's why I am asking what it was like for any others.

No, it was confirmed with others that Homelink is not installed as standard on the Touring, only the Grand Touring. Yes, there were some GT that were showing it not installed and they fixed it for free but Touring owners have reported having to pay to have it installed, I don't remember seeing anyone say how much though.

I have a Touring and was surprised it wasn't installed. At delivery they actually told me to just set it up at home with my opener. Very surprised that the module wasn't there. I had to arrange to have it installed. Took two months to get them to come out and over $300. I have contacted Lucid twice with this issue and they have not responded to my email. Happy with the car but my customer support viewpoint is very much lower.
