Existing Air Touring owner here. It's hard to believe I hadn’t stumbled across this owners forum until now! Just signed up and wanted to say hello.
*** A little back story ***
About 19 months ago, I leased a Fathom Blue AT (18 months + 1-month extension), and wow… what a car. Between the styling, the range and ride quality, it really set a new bar for me. My only real gripe was the mobile key inconsistencies, but aside from that, it’s hands down been the best car I’ve owned.
As my lease was nearing its end, I started searching for a pre-owned AT because yes, I genuinely liked it that much. I looked on and off for a couple of months but couldn’t quite find the right combo of color, options, and pricing.
Last week, I actually scheduled my lease return and mentally accepted that it might be time to move on.
As they say, "All good things must come to an end."...or so I thought.
…Until three days ago.
I did one final search and noticed Lucid’s new 0.9% APR promo on pre-owned models. I assume this is tied to the wave of lease returns hitting inventory, but either way, it prompted me to take another look. This time, I found two cars that checked almost all of my boxes. One in Quantum Grey and another in Cosmos Silver. Even better, both were located here in the Bay Area.
Since I’d never seen those colors side-by-side, I setup an appointment through my sales advisor at the San Jose showroom to compare them in person. After looking at both options, I decided that Quantum Grey was the one for me.
Within two hours of making that decision, I pulled the trigger and placed the order.
I’m happy to say the Lucid journey continues!
