Definitely like some of the improvements. Won’t be upgrading until first or 2nd point release is out.

I tested CarPlay briefly yesterday. Didn’t deep dive into it but it works. For a first beta iOS 26 is quite stable.
 
I did a little fiddling with the settings on the new CarPlay with iOS 26. Here is a look of what you can do. It looks a bit more integrated. I used Auto/Dark Mode:

I was hoping in this version of iOS they would give the option of having it full screen regardless of screen shape. Doesn’t seem like that’s the case based on image.
 
Installed and played with the setup for a while. Seems like alot more choices in screen colors and other display options. The texting features are also an improvemnt. Will drive around a little this afternoon and try more features.
 
Will try later this afternoon. I am running it on my phone and iPad and so far it seems solid.
 
I tried all the new CarPlay features with iOS 26, but was not able to set up screen mirroring during park, which is supposed to be available now. YouTube is supposed to work with screen mirroring as well as other apps. When checking the mirroring menu on the iPhone, the car does not appear.

That would be awesome! I'll have to try to search up how to enable that!

That's definitely a nice feature. Looking forward to seeing who can get it working. I typically don't update my iOS and MacOS until .1 or .2 releases

Same. Screen mirroring just seems to spin. Disappointing.

Screen mirroring needs support from the car. I don't know if any manufacturer has added that yet.
 
I think it works well. I use the lucid navigation most of the time unless the assistant can’t understand my desired address input.
 
I notice with Spotify, the sound quality is inferior when using Carplay compared to Lucid's native app (which does still crash occasionally..) I had really hoped that "auto resume the last song you were listening to from the last source" would be a part of this but it seems like the vehicle starts all over each time I get in. I am hoping that the vehicle's native infotainment continues to improve and carplay becomes irrelevant. Call me a dreamer...
 
I like the new widgets, much better than I thought I would. I’d like more wallpapers, but the way they added transparency makes it blend pretty good with the factory UI.
