Looks like it's billed through the Lucid app to the card on file. Anyone know what the rate will be, or does it vary across locations?

50 on V3 which is about 200 miles per charge hour.

More on V4

For the Lucid adapter, preorders live now, shipping 7/30:

I'm sorry, that was a poorly-worded question...I know it's 50kw for the charging rate....I meant the price.
If you use plug and charge with the Lucid charging plan you will pay the non-member retail rate at the SC's.

Which does vary from station to station, to answer the rest of his original question. Some busier stations even price different rates peak vs off-peak hours thru the day.

Here's hoping we can buy the adapters with our referral points! I have yet to use any of my referral points because the factory tour went away/never lined up with our schedule and I could never get wheels and tires (what I really wanted to be able to get)

Anyone know of any quick way to search for v4 superchargers? I know they're quite rare (if any).

Also, I wonder if Lectron or other adaptors will work and this is just Lucid trying to sell their branded adaptor. Time will tell...

For my area, the non-membership rate is about 62 cents/kW.
So for a 30 mile trip, with efficiency of 3 m/kW, it would cost $6.20.
My ICE car probably burns 1 gallon of premium for around $4.50.
That said, I just pre-order an adapter.

Use the Filters to select NACS Partner (like Lucid) and Other EVs (stations with Magicdocks) to find the ones that will work for non-Teslas.

For V4 vs V3, you can look at the power level for any station. 250kw is V3, 325kw is V4.

Other adapters than the car manufacturer's own do work on other EVs, so I assume they should work with Lucid's too.

Thanks for the info.

If you're going to do the cost comparison to ICE, it's important to include the more common use case of filling at home. How much the gas at the pump in your garage?

*mic drop* :)

That's on the high side. Most tend to be cheaper (40-55c), but of course it varies around the US.

Like EA, Tesla also has a monthly membership plan ($12.99/mo) that lowers the price about 25%. But that only works if you start the session via the Tesla app (not Plug & Charge).

Thanks for the link. Just checked the pricing for the nearest Tesla supercharger....

I'll pick some random ones further from the house and see if the cost differential between peak and off-peak is always that high.

Thus far I've done nearly 20k miles without ONCE wishing we had Supercharger access, but this does bring peace of mins that if we did need to go somewhere with less of a CCS footprint, there would be options.

I was going to ask if there is a subscription option to get the 'Tesla Owner' rate, but two things spring to mind:
1) if there was a way to do so, then it'd be presented as 'member' or 'subscriber' rather than 'owner', and more importantly
2) it's moot because this is a once-in-a-blue-moon fallback option in cases where something hasn't gone to plan and this is my only option.

I respect the off-peak rates, though. I haven't seen that at any EA chargers, and I have charged well after 10pm before.

Didn't someone else here say in that other NACS post that right now only Lucid Air Grand Touring and Touring showed up as options on Superchargers? Is this still the case and us Air Pure owners are left out in the cold? I certainly hope this will work on ALL models of Air

It better. I just ordered my adaptor.

I was also hoping that the adapter would be in the Rewards Store but this morning the Rewards Store is gone. I guess I can be a hopeless optimist and hope that the Rewards Store is closed while they load the adapter.
