Help me Understand Gravity Halo Secure

Just took delivery of a Gravity and I'm trying to understand Halo Secure. I'm currently a Tesla owner and understand sentry mode and dash cam. In the Lucid app there is a Halo Secure setting where you can toggle anti-theft protection on/off. Is this the Gravity's base anti-theft protection, like the car alarm or is this the option to have event recording similar to Tesla's sentry mode?
I never used sentry mode since it drains the battery faster. I would leave this option off if it's just to record events, but leave it on if it's the actual vehicle's anti-theft system. I've only had the car a few days, but notice I lost 5 miles of range overnight which never happens with my Teslas. Wondering if it's because the Halo Secure is unnecessarily turned on.
Also, does toggling halo secure off effect the ability to record events while driving?

Halo Secure is still a work in progress by the Lucid Software team.

Anti-theft protection detects shock, shaking, tilting, raising, towing and intrusion. It is standard anti-theft system that works separate from drive recording and live view. It does not use much power, I leave it on in both my Air and Gravity.

Drive recording and live view require installing a USB in the Glove box. Drive recording only activates when a collision, hard braking, honking occurs or is manually activated. It stores recordings on all 4 sides of the car for 30 seconds before and after a triggering event.

Thank you for that info. So is Halo Secure separate from the Gravity's anti-theft system, or is it the actual anti-theft system itself? So if you toggle off Halo Secure, will it disable the alarm?

What software version are you on? Since 3.4.1 it has been working for me on both WiFi and cellular.

I’m on 3.4.1. Could the problem be that when I attempted to turn on Live View, the car was already plugged in to charge for the night?

I thought the most recent software allowed live view while charging. I’d try it while not charging though.

I’m no further along in my attempts to get Live View to work. The only step left is to contact Lucid Customer Care.

However…I can get Live View to connect to my iPad! My iPad Air (fourth generation), has no cellular capability, just WiFi. This is the strangest thing. If I can Live View to connect to my iPad Air, why can’t I get it to connect to my brand new iPhone Air?

Does the live view work on a regular Gravity Touring or just for the GT?

I have the Touring DreamDrive Premium package. Will the live view only work with a subscription? When can we expect the release?

Live View is currently “Beta” and is a works for some, not for others at different times. Mine is hit or miss but appears to be getting better with recent updates. I believe it will be available for GT and Touring. I also think that once it is fully sorted out that it might become a subscription option.
