I'm a retired computer systems consultant. I was self-employed for 40 years. Being self-employed means you have an idiot for a boss:)

In March 2026, I bought an off-lease 2024 Air Grand Touring for myself as a funeral present. No one else was going to buy me a funeral present, and even if they did, I wouldn't enjoy it. It had 21,000 miles and was in near showroom condition.

I'm having the CCCv2 upgrade done in June. The service center is sending mobile service to my home to do that and to take care of a minor trim issue.

I've only put about 600 miles on it so far, but I'm enjoying it immensely. Without doubt, it is the best car I've ever owned. I was addicted to Audi for three decades, but the Air makes that experience seem like a series of beaters.

Welcome! I came from a long line of Audi ownership, and I agree with your assessment. Best car I've ever owned.

Of course your concern is how well it holds up for the next 20 years before attending your actual funeral in 2046!
