When looking at these poll numbers, it should be remembered that Lucid doesn't have dealer service shops in almost every town as the big automakers do. So a lot of the tows tallied in the poll are probably for issues that would only require a drive to a local service shop if there were one.
My car has been trailered to a service center across the state three times. It could have been driven to a local service center each time if there had been one. (Two of the visits were for computer software/hardware diagnostics that the mobile techs can't do, and the third was for the tow hook recall for which the mobile techs don't have the necessary equipment.)
Rather than being aghast at so much trailering in the first year, I've been impressed by Lucid's resolve in doing what it takes to address issues.
I've had some ups and downs with our early-production car, but coming up on the one-year mark two days from now, it remains the best overall car I've ever owned and in a tight race with my three Audi R8's for the most fun to drive.
