Picked up a 2025 Grand Touring in Fathom Blue, Stealth, Mojave leather etc…

Selling my Tesla Model S (which I really enjoyed) but the Lucid is vastly superior in fit and finish and drive ability. The tech is a step behind Tesla but the rest is a huge leap forward. Leasing this one to try it out but very favorable first impressions. So much so that I also bought the stock.

At the detailer now for PPF, ceramic coat etc…

Car was already produced and came with 19” All Season. Contemplating ordering 20” summer package for better handling. Thoughts?

I came over from a Tesla M3P and had contemplated buying an S, but found the AGT (2025 with 19” wheels in Fathom Blue) to be better in every way. I even prefer DDP’s Drive Assist to Tesla’s FSD, but I guess I am weird that way.

I cannot comment on the wheels as I live in a dirt road, so 19” for me all the way! Anyway, enjoy your Air and congrats…it truly is the Best Damn Car!

In Smooth and Swift modes you have about 600 torques: instantly. This is more than enough to "scare the horses" .

However, Lucid recommends you do not venture into Sprint mode ( 800+ hp)
on All - Season tires. So. How much time do you intend to spend blowing the doors off every exotic you see ?

Yes the handling on summer rubber is absolutely noticeable. For me, who has never been in Sprint mode (2.5 years owner)...
the bi-annual swap from winter to summer rubber is absolutely worth my time.

The traction control is awesome, but riding on Summer rubber in freezing temps. is ... just dumb.

... and if you are lucky and owners believe the low-sidewall tires are too prone to sidewall bubbles, you might find a pristine set of 21"s summer wheels/tires for half-price:

I would echo @Cosmo Cruz sentiment - why not go 21" for summer if you already have 19" for winter? Please post pics of your car after PPF - love the fathom blue stealth.

The 20’s offer a good compromise. I have them and prefer the drive over the 19’s, which I experienced in a loaner. If you’re leaning towards the 21’s, do so at your own risk. Owner experience on them is hit and miss; some have gotten 15K/20K miles on them without any issues, while others have been extremely unlucky with bubbles and blowouts. If the roads are really crappy where you live I would stay well away from the 21's. The reason I ended up with a 20’s is because I got burnt on the 21’s. I had a bubble in the sidewall and a damaged rim that cost me $1600 to replace. On the other hand, I’ve driven 13,000 miles on the 20’s and haven’t had any problems whatsoever.
