Gravity is garaged in Midwest while I’m in the Southwest and is plugged in. On repeated days, Lucid app is unable to wake up the Gravity. Customer Care is unable to as well. I can’t apply update 3.4.4 (let alone 3.5.1) since it won’t wake up.

Anybody have a fix for this?

@marqie I bet you know someone who can help this person

Do you have access to an app that controls the charger? If so, have you tried cycling power from the charger side?

Sorry to be simple, but wait until you return home? Have a neighbor check on it? WIFI down?

well, i guess that's it then. tow to service?
Well no--the car isn't bricked. He just can't connect to it via the app. FWIW, my Air won't connect to the app from time to time. I can't seem to find a pattern to it.

It could just be in a deep sleep if you haven’t tried to access it remotely in a while or driven it. Might be able to wake it up via the key fob or key card. I think Teslas have been known to do this occasionally.

Owner not physically near the car, so fob and key card won't work.

Consider having someone else install the app on their phone, log in, and try to access.

I understand that, when the owner gets back these may be troubleshooting steps to take. Instead of worrying that’s it’s bricked and needs to be towed. These could be options to try when possible.

Total agreement on that.
From the post, I interpreted the issue to be specific to the app or remote access (CC couldn't wake it up), not to waking the car up in general such as with the fob or key card.

Hi, @flexman. I just sent you a DM.

Today, my car finished charging at 12:19am, sent me a notification (so it had connection), then it went in a coma. I couldn't wake it up anymore through the app. It's running 3.5.1.

Actually, I'm watching my WiFi router here and the car is happily communicating with Lucid VPN and MQTT endpoints. Yet, my app still says waking up.

A shot of espresso?

In all seriousness, that sucks. Hope you find a quick solution.

I understand we all want connectivity to all our electronic devices and it would be great if @flexman could experience 3.5.1 when he gets back, without waiting for it to update after he gets home. But, we're all wracking our brains trying to figure out how we can start a car in a garage thousands of miles away from its driver, And, he doesn't need it until he gets home. :)

Ain't this world a phenomenal place to be?🆒

Warning!! Second thought - wouldn't it be great to see all of @marqie DMs? They are SOOOO helpful and they deal with really complex stuff - @marqie, we love having you being so visible on this forum - you go, SuperMarqie!

Now, back to getting a parked car started from a few thousand miles away... :)
