@borski Do the wipers on your GDE make a loud thunk when they turn off and settle back down at the bottom of the windshield? I forgot about it until I read someone else mention it. It is quite loud and distracting. My babysitter said it was because they needed to replace the wiper blades and the nearest store didn’t have the correct size so the unit I was driving had blades that did not match the holders. That’s quite a story.

I didn't notice them being particularly loud?

The wipers did the same on my test drive. My ride-along partner did not make up a story about wiper blades, but he told me that lots of cars do the same thing and the noise is not uncommon, etc etc. I've never had a car where the blades nestled down like that so I didn't have a point of reference. I see why it's a good idea, but the noise was noticeable to me as well. Not a dealbreaker, but def a bit on the clunky side.
