Agreed -- on our 3500 mile road trip we saved at least 4 hours on charging vs doing the same in our Model X.

Another example of the hardware being second to none! Software can be improved over the air, but you can't adjust suspension geometry or motors or NVH characteristics on the fly...

On the other hand, I just noticed a quirk, we pulled in from our road trip at 6% SOC, I let the car sit overnight and it wouldn't do scheduled charging. It's like sitting in some deep sleep energy conserve mode where it wouldn't wake up unless I remotely did it from the app...

It’s a roadtripping beast both for comfort and for charging/range. As well as storage.

When we’ve had our X or R1S along with our Gravity for a roadtrip, it’s laughable how inefficient they are at superchargers or BP Pulse or EA vs the Gravity. And no one wants to ride in the R1S or X. Just my wife.
