None of available wheel options in Gravity configurator appeal to me.
Although, the Aether Stealth (22" Front, 23" Rear) wheels look decent.
Perhaps wheels don't matter to you that much, but for me, ~30% of my buying decision
hinges on available wheel options; I'd hate to spend another $6-8K on aftermarket wheels/tires.

I am absolutely in love with "Aero Sport Stealth" from Air. One of the best-looking wheels ever, IMHO.
Any chance that Lucid will make a version of "Aero Sport Stealth" for Gravity?
Who can I talk to at Lucid? Anyone have direct number for Peter/Derek? LOL!!!

Thank you for communicating your dissatisfaction - I am in total agreement - the choices are clearly under developed. Come-on Lucid the Gravity is your flagship SUV And the rim choices needs more work! My issue is different than Gravitas’s however - where’s the non-stealth 20/21 option not everyone is enamored with the stealth look?

I think Aether Stealth is one of the most gorgeous wheels I’ve ever seen, those exposed brakes look gorgeous!

Well, it's all a matter of personal preference, but since you asked...

I'm personally not a fan of black wheels, so to me 23" Platinums for Gravity look the best. That said, Stealth 23" are also beautiful and a solid option.
Also, to me both, Stealth and Platinum 23" for Gravity look so-so much better than the Air example you shared :) Anything with aero plastic inserts is meh...

A little off topic, but closely related; those are removable aero covers on the Orion Stealth wheels, yes? I think I like them better uncovered.

I'll rephrase my question, because nobody has the Orion Stealth wheels in order to accurately answer the question.

The Orion Stealth wheels seem to have aero covers like the 20" Aero Lite wheels for the Air.
The Aero Lite wheels have removable aero covers.
The Orion Stealth wheels seem to have the same type covers.
Agree or disagree?

I agree, I am not a fan of black wheels. Grey can be nice if done well - it's not clear how black the Stealth wheels are from the configurator. But I don't like straight black under most circumstances. There's a chance they are more grey than black, but it was tough to tell. I might have chosen stealth trim if it were available with the lighter rims, so I went with platinum all around. I agree with the others that it appears the Orion wheels have removeable inserts, but it's tough to know for sure. The 23s are definitely the best looking wheels, by a lot. Though maybe the Orions would be OK with inserts removed. Too bad we can't actually see what that looks like yet.....

The number one reason I'd go with Platinum on Gravity is for the platinum wheels. The stealth ones just create too much negative space for me. Unless you are going all-out black stealth, it just looks off to me.

But that's a personal thing.

Perhaps you are just exaggerating for effect, but 30% of your buying decision depends on wheels?

I went with the Aether as I wasn't a huge fan of the others but I think I'll end up going with Orion depending on how much range is sacrificed with the Aether. I also have concerns the Aether are Pirelli tires and I got burnt with the Air on Pirelli's when I hit a pothole. Didn't just get a bill for the tire replacement but had to replace the rim as well. I'm now on 20's with the Air and feel it was a good compromise given the moment you get excessive rain in CA it's almost impossible to avoid all the potholes that show up, especially on the freeways.

Yup, no jokes. For me, wheels are very important to the overall aesthetic.
Obviously, eventually I'll still buy a Gravity, but if wheel options stay the same as they are today,
I'll be forced to spend another $6-8K on aftermarket wheels and (maybe) tires. I'll grumble, but it is what it is.

In deciding on wheels, I was trying to figure out whether I could find good high-performance summer tires to replace the all-seasons on the 21/22" wheels. I was surprised to find that none of the tires that would fit carried the new "HL" load rating, such as the Pirelli LM tires that were specifically developed for the Lucid Air. Even the Pirelli P Zero tires for the Aether wheels are "XL" load rated, though the Gravity is significantly heavier than the Air. And the 23" P Zero costs over $1100! . . . more than double what I've paid to replace the Pirelli P Zero LM tires on our Air with 21" wheels.

Screw that! I'm downgrading The Air rim was around $1000 I believe so with that and the tire I'm not forking out potentially over $2K when I inevitably hit a pothole

A couple of other things I noticed on the Pirelli website:

They no longer make a tire specifically for Lucid, although they list tires specifically for several other premium brands (MB, Porsche, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc.).

And the one EV-specific tire they now offer is a run-flat tire, and it's only "XL" load rated.
