This is a constant problem for my puny perception apparatus. I always have to look away from the road for a bit too long while driving, staring at settings screens long enough to mentally invert the "buttons" think I'm seeing.
 
Downloaded the new software 3.6.3 yesterday. No noticeable improvement in any features but haven’t tried the seat detection rear climate. Did notice that the hands free driving feature no longer worked anymore. On 3.6 hands free worked some of the time on the highway that I use daily. Today it did not work at all. Hopefully there is going to be fix for this soon.

Mine is off-and-on recently too. It'll not work on one drive, then be fine on the next. I've subimitted a bug note to [email protected]

We just tested it. He has to lean all the way forward, but he can easily reach the rear panel while buckled into his booster seat. He's easily a head taller than other boys his age.
 
Has anyone noticed the change in how Apple Car Play engages?

I used to be able to change between Car Play and the Lucid system by pressing the little icon at the top of the screen; keep it on Lucid's Nav, but press the car play icon to start a podcast, press it again to use the radio instead... Now I have to go into Bluetooth and fully remove CarPlay from my phone before I can use Lucid's radio, Nav, etc. And then re-establish it if I want to hear my text messages. There's now just a little more friction when switching between native and Car Play functionality.

The steering wheel position is restored for me. Are you stepping on the brake and letting everything get into position before placing the vehicle into drive?

Other things I would try:
  • Do a hard reset. Hold brake, X, Mic for 30 seconds until the double chime (not the 10 second single chime).
  • Reset the steering wheel and save the position to your profile. An update or two ago, the steering wheel position was “forgotten” during the update. Resetting the position and saving it fixed it.
 
If you want to switch between carplay and lucid, hit the 9X box which puts all the different carplay apps on the screen. There should be a Lucid app. Touch the lucid app and you will be back to lucid mode and out of carplay. To get back into carplay press the "open" button the in phone section and carplay comes back.

I haven’t noticed any changes. I stream music via CarPlay and then select the AirPlay icon to switch back to the Lucid nav.

What about manual Door Locking?
It's hard to push the handle, and then it's doing a double pull until it's flat.
Do we need a separate update for that?
Or should I do testing and inspection before you release anything?
Don't you have a professional person for that job?

It's still a 1.5- 2 second wake-up delay to pop out the door handles manually.

To start (moving the door handles, 1.5-2 sec.), or finish the movement.
 
Since 3.6.3, I'm running about 90% now on timely door unlock and presenting the handles Out of roughly 20 walkups, I've had 2 that were delayed. One was about 10 seconds, the other almost 20.

Still not fully solved, but 90% is way batter than the 30% I was getting before.

I'm using a manual door lock and unlock. I didn't like it when it unlocks when you're just walking around and don't need it to.

I was never a "hang the keys on a hook by the garage door" person before like my parents used to be, but I've resorted to doing that so I'm not constantly unlocking and relocking the cars every time I walk into the garage. I'm afraid I'm gonna wear the mirror motors out.
 
If you slip the fob in a Faraday pouch and then hang 'em and you won't wear out anything including a bunch of fob batteries
I leave one at home and use one at the office.
 
I use a Faraday pouch as well. It's useful for other brands of cars I've had for preserving battery power and has security benefits, as well, especially when traveling.

That's more trouble than just hanging the fob on a hook inside the house though. I do keep a faraday pouch in the glovebox but it's a little bulky to carry around in my pocket. And as I said, more effort to dig the fob in and out. The hook inside the house is safely out of fob range. And since Lucid only gave us one fob, it's there for both people.

When PAAK finally arrives though, it's back to mirrors in and out. Although I'm not always carrying my phone if I'm just popping into the garage for something. Maybe half the time (or getting in/out of the other car).
 
Trouble? I just leave the pouch hanging on the hook and slip it in n out.

I think those may be the exact same ones I got. Came in a pair and have the same chain hanging out.

Maybe "trouble" wasn't the right word, but the handful of times I've used it I had to use both hands (one to hold the pouch and the other to fish it out with 2 fingers). I know I could put a cord tail on the fob if I needed to do all the time, but my point was that all more effort than just hanging the fob on a hook out of range. Just an easy one-hand thing (my other hand usually has phone and stuff in it).

If someone needs to hang it in range, then sure, they'd need to use a pouch or box. Maybe my fob-to-car range is shorter? Could explain some of my fob issues. 😄
