I just installed a Grizzl E 80a Ultimate Cyber and it's throttling down to 48A shortly after starting. It will run 80a/19kw for about 10-40 minutes then throttle down to 48a/11kw for remainder of charging session. I lowered the car to 64a/15kw and it did the same thing lowering to 38a/9kw. Basically, it drops 60% of the original car setting each time. Before I go hounding United Chargers for a replacement unit, I wanted to see if anyone else having this issue with their Gravity not holding a continuous 80A charge? Is it possibly a vehicle battery management system issue? I don't have any issues using 3rd party fast chargers, just seems to do it on the Level 2 charger.

Just FYI, the house's breaker box has plenty of juice for this unit, it's on a 100A circuit, and it was installed per United Chargers instructions. The electrician has been out twice, but the problem still exists.

I have the exact saved issue. 200am service 100amp breaker prefssionly installed. Funny it’s that it worked before the last update

Many have reported this experience on a wide variety of 80-amp L2 charging stations. The current guess is that it's a software issue.

Since the L2 charging/throttling issue has been present on my Gravity since I got it in December, and worsened after the last update. I pulled together a detailed charging summary showing how quickly it throttled and the impact on SOC rates once throttled from my charger and the 2 other (including their shop charger) L2 chargers it has been charged on. I took it to the SC and showed them, mainly because it was easier to explain in person to the SC and Service Supervisor. A diagnostic report was pulled from my Gravity, this diagnostic report along with my charging summary were used to work with engineering to identify a problem. Took a couple days, but they finally called me back and said all parties agreed there was an issue and they were going to replace parts of the AC charger. I dropped it off last Tuesday to be fixed, so hopefully I'll get it back sooner than later. I requested an Air as a loaner and have charged it every day on my home L2 charger and both the car and charger are working as advertised. Thus, ruling out my home charger as part of the issue which they immediately defaulted to when I first brought up the issue. I'll update once I get my Gravity back.

just a data point for this thread. I am not 100% what charger Lucid service uses (Palm Beach location), but it looks like they charged my vehicle last night and the charging curve is...interesting, it peaked around 15.9kW at 43ish SOC , then down to 12.5 kW at 46% and then down to 9.4 kW at around 56%... Maybe it's some loadsharing that they use there,so that multiple chargers use a single circuit without overloading it?! In my home setup it holds steady around 9kW, but I am using a 40A charger at home.

I've got a loaner Gravity right now.

I plugged it in today at 79% SOC.
