Gravity: Helpful Tips for Automated Car Wash?

That's how they sell the PPF and Ceramic..which is why I didn't do anything to my Gravity, except the door edge guards and sill plate guards

I do PPF our better cars because, as I've mentioned before, we live near sand quarries and often get caught in convoys of dump trucks that spray sand like hair spray. Our Air paint still looks brand new, but our windshield looks like it's been through a sandblaster when the sun hits it a certain way.

But carwashes destroying paint? Nah.

Agreed. It should also be noted my original trepidation about the automated wash was due to the lack of a 'carwash mode' (having had that on my Tesla). I've never been one to fuss about paint or anything like that. Not that it's *not* fuss-worthy, mind you -- it just hasn't been my thing.

I'm just not as precious about this stuff as some folks, I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

These are massed produced cars we're driving sans the Sapphire; with that said I've owned a several low volume cars and those have always been hand washed, but my daily drivers hell no.

You’re incredibly brave. Glad it worked out bd appreciate the update!

There’s no way I would let anyone drive our Gravity through an auto wash. I’ve got no problem with the auto wash, but don’t trust the folks at any of the ones near me to drive it. It will need a thorough washing after this road trip, but I will do it by hand while still in my honeymoon phase!

Talking about brave; didn't you once put a motorhome on cruise control?
