Gravity heated steering

Can anyone please share how the heated steering is on their gravity. Just got mine yesterday and the heat is barely felt. Anyone in the north east who has to deal with the winter if they could comment please. Any fix for it. I had it on the highest setting for 1 hr and it was berely heated
Also anyone else having the self close doors where one door just won’t close. Any fix for that please.

I don't recall seeing a similar complaint about the steering wheel heat. Seems well worth having Lucid look at it. We have heard reports of steering wheel assembly replacement, but not for this issue.

No issues with self closing doors. Just one instance of the software thinking a door is open when it's actually closed.

Just used the heated steering in 39° weather and they took a little longer than my model y to warm up and the heat wasn't as evenly distributed as the model Y but it was definitely plenty warm within 3-5 mins on the highest setting

my heated steering wheel works as expected. detectable warmth in a minute or 2. i never go above level 2.

Mine gets plenty warm. Tried it when it dipped into the 20s a few weeks ago and it was excellent.

I’m picky about heated steering wheels, having had a Volvo that could cook meat and an Audi that constantly made me question whether it was on.

The Gravity’s wheel is fine. It definitely works and I don’t have any complaints about it, but it doesn’t approach Volvo levels of hotness. I run it on 3 on cold days and occasionally bump it down to 2.

It's very subjective, but my personal observation is that steering wheel heat is on the lower end of my expectations, compared to previous experience with Chevy Bolt and Tesla Model Y.
Sure it works fine, but I never want to reduce it from max level and it takes 2-3 minutes to really feel it's effect on my hands.
BTW, my steering wheel was already replaced due to faulty hands sensors.
