Gravity Competition

Newest competition for the Gravity Touring, that's really not (IMHO)...
I'm seeing a lot of those on the road. Gravity should do very well against it - at least for those open to alternatives.

The unfortunate part is that for customers who don't have the time to wait for the Gravity Touring (if they're looking to stay around $80k - $100k), this may be their choose. The fortunate part is, if they lease a Vistiq, at end of lease the Gravity Touring will be waiting.

What was the reference to the Gravity wait list? Did he mean it's taking them too long to get to market or that they have a lot of orders?

Cadillac Vistiq - starts at $80k

References to Gravity:
  • 21:07 - 21:18 Oh Lucid Gravity starts at $80k doesn't it
  • 23:34 space comparison
  • 24:15 no road tripper; buy gravity for 80k
  • 33:38 - 33:50 it’s no gravity

Lease is already half the price.

From the video transcript:
good um I mean not it's no no gravity which again isn't that much more money
"uh the wait list will be a lot longer yeah the wait list for gravity at the moment but and you've also got this".

Kyle: good um I mean not it's no no gravity which again isnt' that much more money
Tijmen: uh the wait list will be a lot longer.
Kyle: Yeah the wait list for gravity at the moment ...

They seemed to be implying the wait for Gravity is going to be long for anyone wanting one.
Considering the fact that they made several references to the $80k price similarity between the Vistiq and Gravity, I would say their were talking about the wait for the Gravity Touring, not Gravity in general.

That $8105 MSRP is more like the Gravity Touring.
In the video Kyle mentions the price range as $80-$100k; pretty much how GGT will be.
My G-GT order w/o taxes is $122k.
Subtract $15k from that for a G-T and your at $107k.

Wtih the Conquest rebate, low MF, and kinda high residual it's gonna look attractive on paper.
Cadillac has multiple models (ICE and EV) from which to generate revenue.
Lucid doesn't.
Add in the Lucid mid-size and some time for Lucid's brand awareness to grow and you're looking at a different picture.

I did a build on the Premium Luxury Package; MSRP $94.4
A 36 mos. lease: $1,201/mo. with 10k miles; zero down, not including taxes.
Comes with AR HUD and more.
Didn't have to add anything really, but I didn't drill down much into the features to do complete comparison with the Gravity.

For me, I'm sorry, you lose me at the frunk alone.
The overall look, bulkiness, interior space, 305 miles range, no NACS etc.
It's not the land yacht that the Escalade is, but it's pretty close.

If you gave me one, ok. I'd drive it.
I gotta pay; I want my MTV ... I mean Gravity GT.
