I am having this issue, too. After some testing, I think it is because the wiper fluid is freezing. It looks like you are in MA, so maybe this is your issue too?
I get wiper fluid when I first leave my garage, but when it has been outside for a period of time (in below freezing temperatures), the rear wiper fluid no longer comes out. My guess is that the default wiper fluid Lucid put in isn't designed for freezing temperatures. If I can figure out how, I am going to drain the current wiper fluid out and put in wiper fluid that is rated for the below zero temps we get in the Twin Cities.

The key fob is programmed to go to sleep to preserve battery. See if shaking it to wake it up helps with your issue. Always carry the NFC card as a backup, you just need to place it on the wireless charing area to get the car to go into drive

Help! I picked up my Gravity yesterday. Major problem: Key cards do not work. Has anyone else experienced this? This is disconcerting as the Gravity is issued with only one Key Fob and it is not yet set up to be driven with the phone app and a code.

Did it make any difference compared to the previous steering wheel, despite their reference to software anomaly?
Some people here reported initial improvement after replacement, but then gradual loss of responsiveness over time.

Changed steering wheel fixed my non-responsive DD buttons going on a few weeks now. But I actually suspect it’s a software issue somehow rather than hardware.

Agreed. My buttons became extremely unresponsive after working fine for weeks, at the same time the blind spot cameras became laggy. After a reset, everything went back to normal.

Would hate to see Lucid’s warranty costs if they’re just replacing hardware when it’s software that’s the problem.

If it was me I would take those seriously. I haven’t heard of those. Another guy did say his brake hold isn’t working either.

What started as an intermittent software problem has now become steady state our Gravity that has a Sirius subscription. Every time we get into the car, the audio system has defaulted to Sirius even though it is displaying the song we last listened to and is showing the system as set to either Spotify or Tidal. The only way we can get back to the source we want is to go into the music library and pull up a selection we have heard before.

I have now added this exercise to the list of workarounds to slog through before getting underway.

As I have now found out in the other Gravity in which I did not subscribe to Sirius. Apparently this is a newly-emergent software bug, as it did not occur originally in that car.

Software stack memory leak could explain the randomness and difficulty in getting issues resolved. Speculating…

I would love a screen that would show cloud activities and underlying software versions. Has QNX updated during sleep? Has it rebooted itself… can we see boot up echos on the screen so when rebooting when is it “done”. I know we shouldn’t need this… but it might help us understand better why these problems keep going. A little text on edge of screen showing key recognition? Just really not liking the total black box nature of this.

I'm guessing Lucid doesn't consider the windshield replacement to be a warranty repair, and is going to charge you for it? If so, I'd be fascinated to know what the bill for that is.

Based on the 3k price of Model X windshields, I’d guess 3 to 4k because they make less of them.

I have many of the same complaints in this thread, but living in the Northeast during this cold snap, one thing that really sucks right now is my Gravity not waking up using the app so I can warm up my car. 9 times out of ten it just spins saying "waking up". My car is connected to WiFi and I have an eero 7 outdoor wired access point less than 5 feet away from the vehicle. I'm sure it's mentioned in a prior post in this thread, but I haven't scrolled through all 198 pages

I have noticed that I often have to hold down the rear washer button for 5-10 seconds before it actually starts spraying. Not sure if it’s a bug or just how long it takes to pump the fluid all the way back there.

First, I want to say that I love my Gravity DE. It's an amazing vehicle with a lot of amazing engineering. However, I have also had an amazing number of issues. I don't really have time to wade through 198 pages of this thread, so I'm sorry if some of this is redundant with other people. But here is my experience in the first month and a half of owning a Gravity DE. I have had to reboot the interface probably about 1-12 times in that month and a half to try and resolve issues. For a while, every software issue would be resolved by a reboot, but that has not been the case recently.

Hardware issues

1. When I open my back hatch, 95% of the time it cracks open, the stops after opening about 4 inches. The car thinks it's open, so if I try and open it again from the dash or the app, it closes. I have to open it from the key(which actually rarely works, but that's a different issue), or from the button on the back.
2. Like veryone else, the key fob is randomly does not seen by the car. Sometimes the car sees it enough to auto unlock but it then doesn't detect it for the purposes of unlocking driving. Sometimes it just doesn't even see it to unlock the car. Even when all of that works, pressing one of the buttons on the fob has maybe a 10% success rate. It's practically useless.
3. Not a glitch per se, but for the amount of engineering that went into the car, it's sad that there is one little section of the windshield at the bottom between the two windshield wipers that neither of neither of the wipers cover. It's mostly cosmetic, but it's a sad failure of engineering.

Softare issues:

1. Up until a couple of days ago, the key card was a reliable backup to the flaky key fob. But this weekend, we were going to go somewhere, it woudn't recognize the fob, and while the key card would lock and unlock the car, the car would not detect the key card in the console. It also did not ask for a PIN to unlock driving. We had to just take the other car. Paying that much for a vehicle that you can't guarantee that you can even put into drive whenever you need it is horrible. The next day, a similar thing happened. I didn't have the fob on me and the car unlocked but wouldn't let me drive. I had to go back inside and get the fob (which fortunately worked this time)
2. The sensors blocked that everyone else gets. Sometimes it's the high beam sensor (usually in the day time), and sometimes it's something that disables drive assist.
3. A couple of times the 4 wheel steering says it needs service. (always fixed by a reboot or the next time I get in the car)
4. The seat returns to my position only about half the time.
5. Once, the right side mirror turned down when I put it in reverse but didn't return to normal position until I did it manually.
6. 2 occasions of the nav and other screens completely freezing. Can switch between screens, but all of them are basically useless
7. Frequently doesn't connect to the main network connection. This happens randomly, but frequently happens when I'm in my parking garage at work. It's a small, open parking garage, so there's no reason to not have cell connection
8. The lag of fully waking up is unpredictable. I don't know if the car will auto unlock when I'm 10 feet away, or after I've been standing next to it for 30 seconds (which is pretty embearasing if you are driving multiple people. Even after getting in the car, sometimes I sit at a blank or partially populated screen for up to a minute waiting for it to completely wake up and be ready to drive. Also pretty embearasing when someone else is waiting with you.
9. Still no Android Auto
10. Once, there was a random beeping like a warning that had no associated indicator (no alerts, no other indicators) that just never stopped until I did a reset.
11. Navigatint to the nav screen in either display for the first time has an annoying several second lag.

All of these SW issues are the type of issues you get when to push a software team to focus on pumping out features and not reliability and stability. I know production and delivery targets are critical to the business, but it doesn't really take that much effort to make sure that the SW isn't horribly buggy. I would much rather not have lucid vibes or 5 different types of massage if I could be 100% confident that I could get in the car and drive away every time I wanted to. This is going to destroy the reputation of the company. (which will have a negative impact on the delivery numbers if it goes unchecked)

One more annoyance. The SiriusXM option is not an actual Satelite radio, it's the streaming version. One of the great reasons to have Sirius as a backup to spotify or other online services is that it works out in the middle of nowhere because its Satelite. But this isn't. Lose your network connection? you lose your "Satelite" radio. It seems a complete waste to not have an actual radio in the car.

One more annoyance. The SiriusXM option is not an actual Satelite radio, it's the streaming version. One of the great reasons to have Sirius as a backup to spotify or other online services is that it works out in the middle of nowhere because its Satelite. But this isn't. Lose your network connection? you lose your "Satelite" radio. It seems a complete waste to not have an actual radio in the car.

That's the new trend for Sirius I'm afraid- Tesla does the same thing

And to build on my post above - there are other things that seem to be getting worse beyond entry/keys/startup:

• My seat now fails to return to its profiled position about 75% of the time now. Seems worse than before when it was more like 25%.
• I'm getting more black screens than before. That basically never happened for my first 3 weeks of ownership, but has happened 3-4 times in the last couple of days.
• I had a weird one the other day: The car never established any internet connection and all kinds of things acted strangely. Navigation obviously wouldn't work. I could look up some destinations but it seemed to be working from a partial data set. The maps just showed without much detail. Oddly, although bluetooth worked, I had no volume control. I finally did a soft reset and it worked. But it was annoying to have to pull over. Go figure someone was following me that day so another odd explanation moment.
• Sensors blocked/high beam functionality errors all the time.
• Airbag sensors don't seem to like my passenger shifting in the front seat. She moves, and the airbags turn off and then on again.
• In the app, when I turn on the climate, it almost always says it failed. Usually it hasn't, but the error is there anyways.

I have all of these except eventually car connect to LTE. The passenger front seat airbag sensor is sensitive. The passenger n er really had to have their full bottom on the seat. If they shift it thinks no one is there and turns off. I think it’s working as intended, but just quite sensitive.

I don’t get black screens too often.

But - why you’re describing with respect to bugs getting worse over time IS something I notice. The OTA does a great job for a while and then performance degrades. Strange.
