I am still experiencing intermittent blocking of my phone’s GPS if it’s sitting anywhere on center console (cup holders back to wireless charging area). It’s fine on the armrest - but annoying. Anyone else experiencing this?

As well, when my phone is on wireless charger, it consistently has one bar and call quality is really rough - even with AirPods. Anyone else experiencing this?

These all occur in areas where I know cell signal is strong and have no issues with our X.

Phone is an iPhone 15 Pro.

This is the dreaded "profile corruption" -- it happened to us too. You have to delete your driver profile and create a new one, which will clear out all of your settings. No other option. Lucid support has only really half-acknowledged it.

Great car to drive, but I'm increasingly having a WIndows 95 experience with the software. I hope the reorg to put the drivetrain director in charge of software will fix things, but realistically we won't see that bear fruit for six months or more. For now, all of the in-vehicle software is hot garbage.

It could be a sensor issue like other folks have suggested, but I have not had a problem since I had the FDU replaced. The heating is great, the AUTO climate works really well. I was getting ice cold air for a good 20 minutes before the replacement, and now it is warm within 60-100 seconds. The steering is heating up well.

My hunch is that some of this is tied to the recalibration or re-assembly of the system once the FDU was replaced. I am on 3.3.5.

I would recommend talking to the SC for sure.

I have a 15 Pro too, I can replicate it when it's on the console.

However, if I plugin the phone with a USBC cable coming from the center console, there is very little / no issue. Can you try that perhaps ?

I have this issue as well. My iPhone's GPS is blocked intermittently (more often than not) when it's on the charging pad on the center console. When you say you don't have issues when you plug it in, where do you put the phone when it's plugged in? Still on the center console?

for now I’m using the guest profile. That seems to work 100% of the time and no glitches. I already had three profiles and all are corrupted. Lost patience :)

Make sure to complain to service so they know how widespread this nonsense is.
 
Lay flat front seat

So, I’ve largely avoided some of the software bugs and key fob issues plaguing others. I’ve definitely experienced the slow screen start-up and headlight/rear steering/other errors that seem to eventually go away. Today the driver’s seat went to fully recline went I entered the car, similar to what others have experienced. Anyone know the root cause of this?

I think its just an Easy Entry bug, even my Air did that once. Press restore on the seat profile it will go back to normal I believe.
 
Apologies for anything I report here that has already been reported in this (long and getting longer) thread. I've been compiling a list of bugs in the current software version (3.3.5 with updated key fob). This is what I have experienced so far:
  • Keeps starting up in SiriusXM instead of the last used source. This has been persistent and seems to be independent of whether content is playing or paused.
  • Air conditioning in the morning blasts cold air, even when the cabin is cool and the temperature is set to 72°. Turning A/C off/on fixes this.
  • Key fob issue is mostly fixed, though I still have to take it out of my pocket sometimes to get it recognized. (Phone creating interference maybe?)
  • USB drive properly formats, but not available for video recordings as far as I can tell. The drive is "formated" and "ready" but I can't see any recordings in the Lucid menu.
  • Car keeps locking itself when you open trunk or frunk with key fob. (Before you open the doors, so perhaps this is an auto-lock "safety" feature.)
  • "DreamDrive disabled" message pops up and disappears from time to time. Might be related to morning and evening sunlight blocking the sensor camera? Or maybe just a software bug.
  • Occasionally, when you press the brake to start the car, the entire screen goes black and you have to wait for the car infotainment system to reboot before the car will start.
  • Map issue: tries to route me home through private and impassable road. (This one is hilarious as it does it with a local private "road" that is a driveway with planters blocking passage. Lucid is determined to send me home this way, every day!)
All things considered, it's still one of he best cars I've ever had the pleasure to drive. I just hope these issues are being worked on and that updates are on the way.
 
Seat heating will not launch from my app. A couple days in a row I've tried this, each time no luck. It looks like it's on in the app (although, note to Lucid: I suggest you use clearer colors in all your menus and interfaces) but inside, no dice. No toasty butt :(

Had it happen once about a month or two ago. Not sure where it's root would lie...

on my Air if you turn Heated seat ON, it also turns ON the climate
when you turn climate OFF, seat stays ON
when you turn heated seat OFF, climate stays ON

So it seems turning on is depending on climate, but the off state is independent of climate. Maybe try a combo through the app?
 
Has anyone noticed the driver attention can be particularly sensitive when going around corners? If I'm looking into the corner, I occasionally get the notification to keep eyes on the road, which I'm doing, just not staring straight ahead. Not a big deal and I'd frankly rather it be more attentive than not.

This warning is tied into the camera monitoring your face mounted on top of the steering column. When you turn the steering wheel it blocks that camera momentarily. The car should be programmed to ignore it when that occurs, but it’s not. I turned off the driver and drowsy attention alerts before I drove back to Atlanta from Orlando. The drive was much more peaceful without the constant nanny alerts every time I turned my head or looked away. Lucid needs to change the interval of those warnings… they are too short.
 
My fob is now working again for proximity and to start the car. Just did the battery reset. Same battery and removed it and put it back. It still has almost all of the original charge.
 
I don’t know if this is a bug or an actual service issue, but this “Drive System Needs Service” alert has been persistent all day during my 200 mile drive. I seem to get other alerts mostly after charging to 100% for a long drive. In any case, I scheduled a service visit in a couple of days. The alert pops up as soon as I put it into drive.

I’m at our vacation home and charged to 80% on my Tesla Gen-1 wall connector at 72A (17kW). 80A didn’t work, so this Gen-1 charger is better than the Gen-2 that can only charge at 48A.

Still getting alert after charging. Obviously, I have tried several steering wheel reboots (long/short).

That is not one of the “usual” alerts I’ve seen or heard about. Definitely worth a call to service to see what they say or if they can see something in you car’s logs.

It’s interesting it just says to schedule service, given some of the false alarms call for immediate service.
