Noticed that my iphone 17 pro was hot even though nothing on screen. Battery drained in 4 or 5 hours two days in a row.
Finally realized that an app may be causing it. Yep, Lucid iphone app using 70% of battery in the background.
Stopped it after using it and phone is fine. Theoretically nothing like this should happen per Apple (at least from my previous experience).

Also had a weird occurrence of NO display of any kind upon entering the car during one of these days. NOTHING worked to get it to come on.
My wife snickered as we drove the dogs to the walking circuit in her 2014 GMC Acadia. She said, "How much did you pay for this car?"

Back to normal next time I woke it up. May be a coincidence with the phone drain but I am not going to test it.

That happened a lot to me with my Air, now that the car is in service and nowhere near me my battery lasts much longer.

I had this issue as well but never as high as 70%. The highest I saw in background was 40% on my 15 pro. That was a couple months ago and seems to be under control at least from its past usage but still has a long way to go. Have a Tesla and the gravity and we’ve driven both twice in the last two days and Tesla app is less than 1% and Lucid is at 5% with 15 hours of background usage.

Noticed a heavy battery drain recently with lucid app on iPhone. This is for Gravity. 30% of total battery drain was attributed to the app over 12 hrs. I already had Background App Refresh turned off. Car wasn’t used at all that day.

Killed and restarted the app and has been better. Software gremlins don’t want to leave their cozy homes haha.

I had the same .. this week starting Tuesday the lucid app used 30-40% of my battery (iphone17pro max) in the background each day. Never even opened the app or drove the car these days. Disabled background refresh for now.

I was able to stop the high drainage by setting Location to "Never" in the settings menu. It seems much of the drain is updating the location frequently. I'm not sure if this will make the PaaK stop working when it's implemented though.

17 Pro Max here. Same battery drain issue with an Air. I left the phone at home for a run (approx 90 mins) and came back to it hot, lost 19% battery and went into power adapt mode. Force killed Lucid App and it resolved.

I’ve noticed this problem happens after charging. I have to kill the app and restart it for the battery drain to stop. Then it won’t happen again until I charge the car.
