Got Gravity DE 343 on 11-12-25 … with a few assembly issues

12-2-25 went into the shop to fix 38 assembly issues. Got it back 12-10-25 with 90% fixed. Sooo many fit and finish issues. Even had the service manager come out and fix a 3rd row wire harness issues. Sadly, it will have to go back for more repairs, they are waiting for parts. And today the driver seat lumbar adjustment broke!

Best looking car I have ever owned. Worst assembled car I have ever owned…going back to my brand new Honda Civic CVCC in 1979, so a Lot of cars! And for those doing the math, my Gravity DE cost more than my lifetime of cars combined!

But it drives extremely well. Charges way faster than my model Y too! Look forward to actually driving the car on a long trip!

Not my experience, having taken delivery of DE #35 in July 2025. Only fit and finish issues were frunk double open issue (well documented) and a malfunctioning middle row seat. All else has been good

I love my Gravity. But I must of gotten a Friday built car!! Hopefully I can get it dialed in because we bought this as the roadtrip car! I was on the list within hours of it opening up and switch to DE 2 days after that opened. We are really excited to finally have this car in the driveway!

Unfortunately it is back in the shop today. 8 charging sessions failed on 5 different stations over 3 days...failed right after the Authentication step. Big Red Error Message. All stations that the Lucid Nav system routed me to. And all had other manufacture's cars charging, so not that Tesla exclusion thing. I tried station that were unused and those that we just previously used prior to my arrival...so I think they were all good stations. I did get some to work...so with a little frustration, a few extra miles and time, we did get enough charge to complete the 800 mile road trip. Never had a car that could not refuel...which hurt my wife road trip vibe, even after we got a stations to work, she was worried, so we never let it get below 30%, just in case.

Also the GPS froze for 3 hours and even a reboot did not fix it. And something is off with the right side sensors, then work about half of the time. When they don't work it disables most of the driver assist and driving safety features of the car. Hopefully these are just SW issues and the next update will fix them permanently.

They will make another go at the fit and finish between the interface between the roof and the rear fin. The showroom car is flush, but my car and most of the cars in the parking lot are off between 1/4 and 3/8 of an inch. Some sort of universal manufacturing issue I suppose. O'h, and oddly, the driver side Lumbar up/down quit working.

I m really excited to get my Gravity roadtrip-able!! Hopefully by next week!
