GGT with Tech Package Deliveries

Me either. I also ordered in March and mine just when into production last week. I did want the tech package so the site always said late 25. I wonder how people got theirs earlier.

Remember when I was purchasing, there was a VIN available for a fully loaded car that was an exact match to my order so it quickly went into production. Basically my gravity did not go to production based on my order, but a gravity going into production with the VIN was claimed by me as it matched my specifications. If that makes you feel little better.

Texted my advisor today ready to pull the trigger. Since the Lucid web site has my address AND offered me 1.99%, I assumed they knew what they were talking about. Nope, no special financing for me in Ohio.

And being a ways away from any sales location, I offered to find 7 guys locally willing to commit to a test drive if they drove a GGT here. No interest.

They can really make it hard to buy one of these. Been here long enough to know a test drive won't tell me much I haven't heard but it would be nice. It would also be nice to get SOME incentive for a beta software car. Honestly I wish my SA would call me sometime with a creative solution to my problem but that doesn't happen either. At least throw me a bone. The new BMW's are coming soon and if I'm still in the market it will get a close look.

We'll see if any EOY incentives come up. I'm not convinced they are coming though as they dont seem particularly motivated just yet. And I'd imagine any EOY incentive means "take delivery by 12/31" and that seems very slim given the lower end models they are building today.

The price I pay for living in Amish country! :rolleyes:
 
I do wish they were better about matching cars to orders. However - and I'm not sure what folks' color or options packages are like - but I've been seeing some pretty fully loaded ones available (or available in 2 weeks). I transitioned my order to Titanium to buy time, but would be happy to get a couple of the cars that are on the site now if I was ready to buy. I'd even be tempted by the Touring models, as there are a number of fully loaded ones, they're cheaper, and 300+ miles is all I need most of the time.
