Hi. For my Touring with 20" wheels, I am looking at spare wheel plus tire offerings from ez-sparewheel.com and evsportline.com but they cost $460+ after shipping! I can get a used Lucid full size rim plus 245/40/20 tire for about $300 from my local tire shop. My questions are:
1. Does a full size spare for the front fit and is safe to drive on the rear if needed? I understand the limited range and low speed 50-60MPH driving requirements to get a to a repair shop.
2. Can I assume the car lets me drive on a spare that does not have a TPMS on it, albeit there may be some warnings while driving?
Called Lucid service and got no help from those guys. Thank you for your insights.
