- Lucid Gravity GT
I have now had my Gravity GT seven passenger for four weeks. It’s been in service twice, first for a rear seat that needed to be replaced. Got the car back after four days. Three days later….Thursday night we were driving in LA and I heard what sounded like a backfire in the rear. Car was immediately reprogrammed to go no more than 52 MPH and lacked some steering control. After it was parked for a while, it seemed to regain “its health” and drove home with no issue. Yesterday, I got a call from Lucid Service in Beverly Hills to bring the car in ASAP as there is an identified rear drive unit issue. I was given a loaner, which is great, but service admitted that it will take a while to diagnose, and if needed to be replaced, could take a while. I think being an early adopter is a blessing and a curse. I hope this curse is short-lived!
