Floor mats

Would've liked to go with the LinerX ones as well but backed out due to the 3rd row fitment issues. Otherwise, so much cheaper. I put in my order in for the OEM Lucid ones at the Service Center today when I dropped my car off for servicing. They actually had a bunch in stock and no shipping fees either so you could check with your local service center if you change your mind.
I tried that last weekend when I picked up the car. They were out of stock.

Just FYI, I received my 3 row Gravity from LinerX on Feb 6 (ordered on Jan 6). Same issue with the third row hole not lining up. I'm going to let it stretch out and see if it fits. The other rows fit (and look) great. I wonder if the third row is intentionally designed this way to ensure it lays flat over time (the second row shape is easier to stretch so wasn't hard to put in).

I got mine the other day too. I only have a 5 seater, but there's still a carpet where the 3rd row seating would be. I figured I'd try the mat to see if it would fit - I had to pull on it a bit, but the mat snapped in just fine.

I had to use a heat gun and run it mostly along the length of the rear of the mat until it softened up.
I have a 5-seater but at the time only the 7-seater LinerX mats were available (now there is a 5-seater pack for $10 less). Just got mine this week. They seem very WeatherTech-esque. I hope they hold up to scratching better than those do.

Interesting to hear that these didn't fit your third row precisely either. I was beginning to think there was some sort of difference between these configurations, which didn't make any sense. I think they botched the measurement scan back there. The track cutouts don't line up well either.

I'm going to ask if they just want that piece back.

huh, mine seems more off than yours then. I was afraid I'd pull out one of the Gravity snap points. and as I said earlier, the tracks don't line up well.

I can confirm the same experience with 3rd row. I wrote to them, they said put it under the sun or use a hairdryer to warm up the rubber grommet. This was not required for the other mats, so they are definitely covering for a mistake. I haven't tried it yet, but I'd say it's about 0.75" to 1" off.

agreed. that measurement of being off seems similar to mine, not insignificant. the grommet is one thing as maybe I could stretch it with heat, the track spacing is another.

maybe I'll leave it in the sun for a while and try again tomorrow. not too concerned as mine is a 5-seat and I can just skip it.

As I posted earlier, I have the 3 row LinerX mats. And yes the holes are about 1cm too close together. But a mild stretch allows them to snap into place. That was several weeks ago and they have stayed firmly in place. I think they look great. I like the black contrast with the dark grey flooring. Looks really cool with a black exterior car.

I also have LinerX mats for our Air. Pretty happy with the quality at just over half the price of the Lucid ones.

OK, OK.

I left the LinerX 3rd row mat out in the sun for several hours and then went back to putting it in the car. It stretched enough now to fit the grommets. But on the first attempt it pulled out of the first grommet it was attached to when putting it on the second. Subsequent attempt it stayed put. Still think it was measured slightly off compared to the other rows, but it does manage to install which required little effort.

Just installed my LinerX floor mats and as others have said, all fit well except the third row. Got the third row in eventually. I noticed the LinerX feel thin and cheap. They’ll probably do the job, but they did seem pretty thin.
I don’t have the Gravity OEM all weather mats to compare head to head. I’d be interested if any purchased or compared the Lucid and LinerX mats to see if the OEM are better quality.
On another note, while removing the third row carpeted mats I realized that the third row in the Gravity is just plastic. Lucid didn’t extend the carpet all the way to the third row. I have a 7 seater Model Y and it has carpets all the way through the 3rd row. Seems cheap for a 6 figure luxury vehicle.
Anyone else notice this, or am I the only one cheated on carpet?

The track cutouts also seem to be out of whack on the LinerX. I used a heat gun to get the third row in so I’ll probably just deal with it since I don’t actually look at the floor of my car that often but they definitely don’t feel as well done as the 3DMats I’ve had in my last two cars.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I did reach out to 3DMats about plans for mats for the Gravity. I have had their mats in my last 2 cars and have been beyond happy with them; they perform great, fit great, and look better than any other weatherproof mats I have seen. Anyways, 3DMats shared they measured the car last year and should have something on their site in 2-3 months.

I like the look/texture of 3D mats, I don’t like their price. I have the cheaper Amazon knockoffs in my Model 3 and Y. There aren’t many options for the Gravity so I may have purchased them, but I didn’t have 2-3 months to wait.

Got the LinerX's, yep 3 row grommets off. Will wait for a warm day to put in the sun. Most keep the car in 2 row mode anyway. Everything else fit fine. Cargo mat is fine as well, I think some reported that was a bit off, not in my case.

My cargo mat has a lump in the middle where it was folded. It sat out in the sun quite a bit. I might put a heat gun to it to try to get it to flatten it out a bit. Ironically on LinerX's own website the photos of the cargo mat in the Gravity has a kink in the middle of it and I assume they didn't need to fold it up.

Same with mine. I’m not sure laying it out in the sun will help, since ultimately it may be too wide. Fortunately, the lump is not large. Overall, I’m very happy with the mat and its ability to protect the carpet underneath from anything that leaks from those Costco runs.

I looked at the Lucid all-weather mats and decided to order the ones from LinerX. They are really nicely made, and other than the aforementioned 1/4"-too-narrow 3rd row mat, the fit is fantastic. Letting the cargo mat sit out in the heat now.

Does the Lucid mat set come with a cargo mat or is the cargo mat something that only the Linex mat set comes with? Btw, I've got the 7 seat configuration so I'm wondering how the cargo mat works with the seats up/down.

The Lucid mats only come with the passenger seat mats. Same with Liner X, if you want frunk/trunk mats you need to buy them separately. The trunk mat with a 7 seater would work with the seats folded down. But you’d need to constantly remove it every time you put the 3rd row up.
