First time charging at EA

I’m charging for the first time at EA. All went well but I’m curious why there are 4 charging stations each with 2 CCS cables but only 4 spaces.

Shouldn’t this be able to charge up to 8 vehicles? See image.

The cables are redundant. Only one can be used per unit at a time. It's mainly for reaching charging units on different cars

That means all the EA locations have much less usable ports than I’m used to with Tesla where you see usually 8-12 ports. Oh well.

Yep. EA is a decent start, but a small fraction of what will be required within a year or two. I'm hoping that the already-allocated federal infrastructure funding, a couple times larger than EA's expenditure so far, makes a big difference.

Finally used EA in Brentwood, TN on our way to turn in our Model S. Was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to use. The charging station recognized our Lucid and after confirming a few prompts we were good to go.
