- 2022 lucid air grand tour
Ok guys, so I got my hands on the car after all the hiccups of needing to get it towed due to being frozen during a update- man I’m loving this car alot
I had a 2023 air gt before , then I went to a hellcat Redeye charger and now I got this sapphire
It drives superbly, I have zero complaints, something’s that are different from my 2023 gt which are pleasant surprises, besides all the obvious, and I’m wondering is this only for sapphire or is this for all air now
1- I’m able to completely shut off regen braking, this is great for me because my wife hated the feeling and gets nauseous , this makes it kind of feel like a ice car, let me know if all airs do this now
2- the next day when I get in the car, it remembered that regen was off and stayed off
3- I feel like the CarPlay display is bigger than it used to be
4- God willing I hope I can keep this car a long time, and never need to ever sell, I’m kind of a psychopath lately on changing cars. I had a 18 month lease on the gt- which I gave in 5 months early, and funny thing is they told me I just had to pay like $1100 to get out and not worry again, a few months later I get a bill for like $5500, I disregarded it, I never heard from them again, but I see it on my credit report but it doesn’t say late or due or anything, I will see what happens with that, that was a little off topic ,
Also a pleasant surprise is that car came with tints and ppf wrap, which I bought the car from California dealer and I’m in New York so they shipped to me, however I bargained them down a lot, so then they tried to push ppf on me and was asking for like $9,000 and I told them no, I’m sure they are well aware it already had it, see some photos of the car, also I bought the 3d grey weather mats and they are a perfect fit and match
