Feedback Request for All Season Tires at 20 inch wheels

Hi everyone,
I have a 2023 Lucid Air Touring and I’m thinking about replacing the factory origin 20-inch Michelin summer tires with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4.
Has anyone here used these tires and can share their experience? I’m especially curious about cabin noise, handling, durability, and any negative impact on range.
I noticed on Tire Rack that these tires are not listed as EV-tuned. Could that cause any alignment issues or other problems with the car?
This is my first EV, so I’m still learning the difference between regular tires vs. EV-specific tires, and I’d appreciate any insight.

I put them on in August after getting about 17,000 miles out of the Michelin OEM tires. The fronts were worn out, but the rears were still in decent shape.

They’re quiet, and the ride feels essentially the same as the OEM EV tires. I can’t speak to durability yet, but they do carry a 45,000-mile warranty, which I believe is effectively cut in half because of the staggered setup. There may be a slight hit to range, but nothing significant.

I'm literally getting the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 put on tomorrow, in anticipation of a road trip to upstate NY next week.

We'll see how they do.

I'll caveat my post by saying if you'll be in situations where ambient temperatures will be below 45 F, you'll certainly need at least all-season tires for the 20" wheels. I initially wanted to try out the PS All Season 4s but was turned off by multiple reports that they were noisier than the Pilot Sport 4Ss, so I didn't go that route. I had read great things about the PS4Ss and had them installed, but they were too bumpy and noisy for me. So I'm back to the OE tires and they've been fantastic. Again, works for my use case where ambient temperatures rarely go below 45 F.

Hi @phantomias - I got a 25 AT with 20" OEM Michelin Pilot Sport EV summer tires and have been switching them out in the wintertime for the Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4s, which my car is now wearing. The PS AS 4s have worked really well for me. Great wet and light snow performance, great handling always, and they seem even quieter than the summer tires in the dry.

I had originally wanted to get the higher-ranked (by Tire Rack) Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 that I had previous experience with, but they don't have the specs in the 20" size. I'm not disappointed in my choice, however, as the Michelin PS AS 4s have been solid performers for me.

I have a 2023 AT with 20" wheels and do the same. Can't really determine any negatives with the AS 4's. I don't detect any noise or handling differences. I think they are a good choice.

Thank you for the information. I checked Tire Rack again and it looks like Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 is also available in 20 inch as well. How do you compare this with Michelin PS AS4?

I had the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires on my Audi before I got my AT, so I can't do a true comparison between the two tires on the same vehicle. I'm not sensing too much of a difference between my Audi wearing the Conti's versus the AT wearing the Michelin's so I think you would be good with either. (I suggest you verify that the Conti's are available in the OEM-specific widths and aspect ratio, and not just the wheel size.). Good luck!
