Experience with San Jose (CA) service center

I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call on Monday from San Jose SC manager, assuring me that they would make sure to arrange me an Air loaner.

Since then, the situation has only improved. I received my Air loaner on Tuesday as promised. On Wednesday morning, I received another call informing me that my Gravity requires a battery replacement, and they are currently working on it.

They also asked if I would like to switch to a Gravity loaner, and I happily agreed. They dropped it off at my house today!

I'll admit my impression of this particular SC has completely changed since just a few days ago.
I think theres a consistent pattern with Lucid that they don't always live up to our expectations, but they're trying to, and often improve after complaints.

Currently going the first portion of your experience with San Jose service center. Called to schedule a service for a new rattling sound that seems to be coming from under the car. They said mobile service will reach out to schedule an appointment after remote diagnosing. I had to specifically ask when I would be contacted again after the diagnostic but they said they have no timetable and they don’t know when I will receive a callback, just that I will receive a callback. I wanted to schedule a service appointment at least for a placeholder because the next available one is in January arriving to them but they just said no. Honestly very frustrating experience.

Hi Plastex--I had an issue with my driver's seat in my Lucid Air Touring that is just under a year old. I was helped by Budd Lemos, who was knowledgeable and kind. It turned out the seat had to be replaced (height adjustment failed) and did take longer than Budd had projected. However, I was just there yesterday for the seat replacement and everything went well. I recommend calling Budd. Please DM me if you need his phone number.

Moderator note: Lucid Phone number removed.

Maybe we should delete this thread or repost it with a positive title? We have way too many negative threads here and this seems like - a positive one now??

FWIW I took delivery of our GGT at San Jose and it was quick and smooth. One due bill item that was scheduled and fixed within a week.

The San Jose sales manger Anthony is a rock star and helped me resolve a goodwill check I was owed for a on site discount from purchase.

And on the service side , Budd is fantastic and when I had a service issue, he had a loaner towed to me and towed my GGT back. Super responsive and just gets stuff done.

My experience has been very positive for San Jose. Also be clear that this was the Stockton rd location, not the mall.

And I’m serious @plastex, please consider changing the title or re-posting a positive experience. A lot of would-be buyers are impacted by this forum. They should see the good posts as well as the bad.

Recently had a very good experience with San Jose service center. 3 year maintenance and a repair. Communications, duration, attention to detail, and loaner vehicle added up to high customer satisfaction.
