EV Charging

Have a question for the Forum. A friend of mine sold me his one year old plug-in ChargePoint Home Charger with a J1772 charging head. I'm considering either a: buy a NACS adapter; b: buying a NACS cable conversion from ChargePoint at $199 and making the change myself; or c: buying the Lucid Charger, having it hard-wired into my electrical panel and stashing the ChargePoint with a NACS adapter in the car and using it as a mobile charger when visiting friends. My Gravity is on order and I really don't want to damage any of the on-board electronics. Thanks in advance for all help!

I'd buy the NACS cable from Chargepoint. Adapters are a drag in daily use. Chargepoint's EVSE is designed for easy cable replacement.
There's currently no advantage to Lucid's EVSE unless you want to charge at greater than 48 amps.
