I plan to tow a teardrop RV that weighs approximately 2600 pounds. Does anyone have experience towing something similar with a Gravity Grand Touring with 20” wheels? I’m looking for results expressed as x miles/kwh, hoping for 1.4 - 1.5 miles/kwh.

Searching for “towing” I see towing-with-the-gravity. Pulling 3500 gave ~1.4 mi/kWh with 21” wheels.

Would be interesting to see your numbers!

I got 1.6 (and still rising) towing an open aluminum car trailer with a sports car on it, but calculated from usage was getting 203 miles/fulll charge. Total towed weight about 3400 lbs but also 8 wheels/tires and a LOT of tools in the Gravity (tires alone approximately 320 lbs). Based on actual usage, >180 miles for first leg, and >140 miles for each additional leg assuming charging with 10% of charge remaining and charging to 80%. That was my plan for the long tow, but I ended up stopping at almost 30% remaining and by the time I bought a rushed lunch the car had charged to >90% (15 minutes -- 360 kW charger). If your load has low wind resistance, you should have great range.

I took the tire rack off my trailer but will do a tow in the next couple of months with the tire rack on and loaded, to see how much of a hit my range gets with that significant increase in wind resistance (the tire rack holds the tires over the hood of the car, but so much easier to pack and less likely to mess up my car). Please post your results.

I’m getting my GGT in 2 days which I will use to tow a Safari Condo 1723;that weighs about 2600lbs fully loaded. Even though it is a teardrop shape, I suspect it will have more air resistance than an open car trailer. Even so, your efficiency is very encouraging. I’ll report back in about a month when I take my rv to Yellowstone. Thanks for sharing.
