Dynamic Efficiency

Doesn't the CT have a larger battery? Rather than range you should be comparing kw-hr used by each for the trip.
The cyber truck has 123 kWh usable battery pack. The lucid gravity also has 123 kWh battery pack, but approximately 119 kWh is usable based on EPA numbers

Just to share some numbers. South Florida, 25% highway miles, GGT, 7 seater on 21/22’s. Delivery August 12 and in service for 42 days since. Dynamic efficiency has always been a low number.

2.71 is not a super low number for dynamic. It’s a tad low, but not terrible.

Speaking of efficiency and trip/energy data, why oh why are cars still only providing “Trip A” and “Trip B”? We have huge screens, tons of compute power, loads of apps, why not provide an actual list of trips with a nice table of data? It would be super simple to list date, elapsed time, start and end points, distance, consumption, etc. You could easily let the user clear them.
Anyway, I appreciate there’s higher priority issues but it seems like an oversight that our modern EVs still don’t have this.
I would be happy to at least have elapsed time and consumption data for trip a, trip b, since last charge, and “current drive”. These should also be shown on the trip widget on the cockpit panel, it makes no sense to me that they have a widget with a ton of screen real estate and they only show distance?!
Also, agree with others that the dynamic efficiency widget is useless without telling you what the range they are sampling is… is it 15 mins, 15 miles, 100 miles, 24 hours, who knows. Ideally you should be able to choose in the energy app and it should be reflected in the widget.
Tesla does a good job with displaying efficiency and battery performance using real time data. I drive too fast, but it at least reflected the impact of my do so.

For my 3-day old GDE, 20/21" wheels, 7-seater, I've been dying to see my own real-world data. The ideal EPA rated spec is 3.33 mi/kWh (410 miles/123 kWh). I lose 27 miles of range for the DE fun factor.

With smooth driving mode and high regen, diving for the comfort of both human and canine passengers:

2.91 mi/kWh over 148.9 miles on a mini road trip with two adults, 1 teen, and two large dogs. Mostly highway at 75 mph and some city. Temps were in mid 50's.
The return leg was 3.00 mi/KWh over 56.5 miles (we hit some highway traffic that cut our speed to 60-65 for a stretch). Out of 44.7% battery consumed, 40.7% was driving, 1.3% elevation, and 2.7% non-driving (climate, lights, etc.)

3.14 mi/kWh over 25.9 miles round-trip on a shopping trip with two adults. 75 mph on highway and temps in low 50's.

I could probably hit the ideal 3.33 mi/kWh under ideal conditions (summer, no passengers, 65 mph, etc.), but who drives the speed limit? I'm happy with my real-world range of ~360, or ~90% of EPA when just chilling. I'm hoping for 80% of EPA when road tripping fully loaded with the entire family. Forced stops due to bladder limitations and not Gravity range limitations :D.

Just funny how this is can be so different from what others report.

Where was this if I may ask and what was the weather like?

This was in the Bay Area, California. Beautiful sunny day, no wind, temps in mid to upper 50's during the day, dropping to mid/upper 40's during the evening, mostly flat elevations.

Drove from home in South San Jose to Campbell for brunch. Dogs left in the Gravity, creature comfort mode on during brunch. Back to South San Jose because we forgot doggie water and food. Next leg was South San Jose to Fenton's Creamery in Oakland (this ice cream shop has special significance for us), followed by a short trip to a dog-friendly park for dog walking. From Oakland, down to Los Gatos for dog walk and dinner. Dogs went back into the Gravity with creature comfort mode on during our dinner, as we couldn't find a heated patio and temps had dropped to the 40's by then. Finally, back home to South San Jose.

2.91 mi/kWh was for the entire trip as reported by Gravity since last charge (just before we left). It includes creature comfort for our dogs. 3.14 mi/kWh was the Oakland->Los Gatos-> South San Jose return leg via trip meter.

Totally depends on where you’re driving, type of driver, weather, etc. Absolutely possible to get the rated number. Not in cold (eg sub 45 degrees) weather though. Or if have meaningful elevation. All to be expected.

I don’t expect to see 3.10+ again until Spring in the DMV. But that’s no different from the impact cold has on our X or R1S. Or any EV I’ve heard about.
