Drive System Warning Message

Hello all I have a 24 lucid air touring received the drive unit warning took it in for service. They are replacing my AC unit and are also replacing my battery as well.
They did the same for mine last winter
It was a FAULT not a warning

I just got the same error yesterday. We have a road trip this weekend. I'll see if it goes away after a reboot & sleep
it will go away after a reboot but...
it comes back and more frequently as I'm guessing the coolant leaks
I don't recommend you take it on road trip as you might get stuck if the car gets hot

It does come back every time we start driving. Thanks for the advice. Guess no tray tables for the kids on this road trip

I had this exact issue and it was a failed coolant valve. Lucid ended up having to replace the coolant manifold and replaced the coolant with a different type of coolant.

KoP really is good for service
Got there at noon and got a gravity loaner
My car was in the bay being diagnosed by 315

Update
received text yesterday

we are replacing the coolant manifold for the driver unit We still need to work on the open campaigns and window issue.I will have a better time frame for you tomorrow for when to expect your vehicle to be ready

The open campaigns are the recalls on the back seat and fob
the window issue is weird- passenger front window will only go back up once its all the way down - asked them to see if its hardware or software

Thanks for keeping us up to date. I'm sure mine will be coolant-related as well. Did you, by any dance, hear an annoying whining noise from motor at certain speeds?

Actually the day before service I noticed a tiny whine while accelerating

My front drive unit has been making that sound for a while. I wonder if it's related. The mobile tech didn't seem to think it was abnormal. I'll mention it at my appointment

I to admit to playing loud jam band music like Phish
I switched to sports radio that day so maybe I only heard it due to my ear getting a long needed break

Just got the Drive System light as well on my GGT. The light has been intermittent, but service has figured that the coolant manifold needs to be replaced and coolant flush performed. Drives fine around town for now, but won't be taking on a planned road trip later this month now. Good news is, I have an AGT that can do the job, but would have preferred the GGT.

Did they figure this out remotely? Mine couldn't be diagnosed remotely and took a while to diagnose at the SC. Looks like the coolant valve will be replaced.

Not sure how it was already determined and/or if logs were pulled (I mentioned specific times that I saw the error pop up), but I also had an issue the other night trying to charge on my LCHCS (that I passed along to our tech as well) where charging stopped due to the need to cool. Even though I live in the TX heat, that's never occurred before on either my AGT or GGT. When I went into the garage to check the car, the fans were not running. Normally, I'd have heard the "jet engine" fans cooling everything down.

Took awhile to get scheduled and get the car serviced, but once the car got into service it only took a couple days, all the other time was queueing.

Everything seems fine from a driving standpoint and even got to do a little bit of dirt road for the first time on a short road trip this weekend.

For what it's worth, staff seemed cautiously optimistic about all the changes and were really glad there was hiring going on in servicing. Maybe we should all switch careers to ev techs :)
