Feedback: Dream Drive Pro Hands Free.
Safety Use Case: I was driving yesterday on I-880 in the carpool lane with hands free dream drive pro enabled. There was a car in front of me traveling at like 60mph, my dream drive pro speed was set to 75 mph. There was a bike that overtook me and when it was parallel to the car in front the Lucid Lidar/Camera switched focus from car in front to the bike, the bike was driving faster than the car in front and the dream drive pro decided to start accelerate and i had to tap the brake, if someone is not paying that much attention it could have rear ended the car in front. Please fix this ASAP. Thanks.

Shared the above with Lucid. Please pay extra attention if you are on hands free mode enabled and a bike is sharing the lane.
 
You are not alone! Tuesday we were driving on I93 in NH middle lane. First our driver screen went black for several seconds & came back on. While this was happening our caution lights started blinking & would not stop for about 5 minuets though we repeatedly tried to turn them off. Also while this was going on the car decelerated severely & sped up again several times. After everything settled down none of the drive features would work. No cruse control, no assisted drive, no over what ever & no hands free - NOTHING! The next day everything worked as it was supposed to & Friday we drove to MASS without issue, everything worked.

Wouldn’t auto brake have caught it?
 
As far as I know, the only key difference between hands on ADAS and hands off ADAS is that the manufacturer has greater confidence that the system will work more reliably with the hands free vs. hands on since the response time if something goes wrong is longer for hands free.

Making the next jump from hands free to eyes off ADAS will require exponentially greater confidence in ADAS capabilities as with eyes off ADAS, some drivers will be nodding off to sleep. If something goes wrong, driver (or should I say occupant) will wake up when the airbag inflates.

No, AEB works up to 80 mph although most manufacturers don’t guarantee that it will stop in time to completely avoid an accident but rather hopefully avoid hitting car but if it can’t completely avoid the hit, at least reduce the impact.

Experienced and reported the same problem to Lucid.
