I just had my roof bow replaced under warranty; and it sticks up darn near 1/4 inch. My old one they replaced was flush with the glass. The tech told me that they new ones are supposed to stick up 1/32 of an inch or “2 sheets of paper thick”

Well mine looks like this. This can’t be right? Trap dirt and leaves constantly?

You have some good contacts. Did you contact them? It looks like something that needs to be adjusted

The raise causes a whistling in the worst case. With our first one, you could stick a quarter under it until fixed.

Okay so I can fit 2-3 quarters stacked under this. So not normal.

The edge already started peeling up and the glue is running on the glass so it is going to be replaced again they said. So that’s the resolution.

I was trying to to make more noise than I need to with them. If it was normal (the tech said it was but clearly it’s not) I would have accepted it.

Flush with the hood is normal for everyone referencing this thread in the future. The fix is under warranty. Lucid will take care of it if notified

Yes, this was done by their mobile tech who lied and said it’s normal. They damaged other parts on my car that now need replaced, I have a call with Lucid DM next week to discuss how we are going to fix all the issues they’ve caused.

we can just consider this “solved” and not to spec. Any other concerns I’ll stick with my main thread.

Ah okay. Yeah that sucks. Poorly trained technician. My experience has never been poor with Lucid Service, but sounds like you got a bad experience all the same.

Sounds like they are going to make it right for you though. I once had a hole in my front bumper when my vehicle was returned. They loaded the car back up and took care of it without a word of complaint. No hassle beyond having to call and send photos while holding the driver hostage until resolved.

*Hostage as in I refused to sign the release paperwork until written acknowledgement of the damage and a return of the vehicle.
