Another way to look at it, instead of spending 5k on special color, why not wrap and you get paint protection as well. Maybe car manufacturers should just sell a few basic colors and let those who want more pop, just pick whatever wrap they want.

On the flip-side, my understanding is that PPF doesn't last the lifetime of the car, so you're looking at repeating a pretty expensive process, perhaps as much as every 5 years.

definitely yes! The colors in the showroom are so dark we had to take them outside. Finally got stealth dark silver w/ stealth trim. We wanted red but the specs weren’t available. Right after we got the car we saw a red one parked on the streem, glad we didn’t get that color
