Does Halo really work?

I found this scratch on my Gravity this morning. It's always in my garage, so it must have happened at a parking lot yesterday.
Unfortunately, Halo didn't catch it. Shouldn't it?

That sucks. Someone gouged a strip of paint in my passenger rear door a week ago of my Air. No note or anything to contact.

Unfortunately, Halo doesn’t detect and record these minor collisions when parked. Still in beta.

I got an "impact" notice on my phone yesterday while the car was parking in a parking garage, but checked all around and didn't see anything.

Event recording didn't record it, although maybe I didn't have it enabled (if that's even what it does?).

I did look and found 4 recordings from the past few months though. First time I remembered to check. All 4 were horn use.

Happened to me in the same exact spot while parked at airport recently and same no video.
